What do you get for your attorney’s fee?

Where our services are court or litigation related matters how we proceed is as follows,

Once the required services are agreed upon together with agreed professional fees transfered to us we proceed as follows.

Draft and lodge the court petition, the fees for the same will have been invoiced and paid, during the drafting of the petition communication guidance and advise is included however please also refer to our excessive communications policy as excessive communications will be invoiced seperatly in 6 minute blocks as per western standards at the assigned fee earners hourly rates.

Court and Summons fees will be invoived seperatly once known depending on national or international summonses and how many are to be sent.

Court or Family Liaison Officer Meetings by assigned lawyers and translators are billed in advance of each court or FLO attendance, we complete matters this way so as not to pre charge for anticipated numbers of hearings which may resolve more quickly thus only raising fees for the actual attendences we complete

Any out of office visits for example to obtain land office documents or documents from the DBD etc in support of your case would be billed seperatly.

Our fees do not include court fees, travel, financial application court fees based on 2% of any amount you wish recovering, appeals, enforcement of a judgement, office of enforcement execution and so forth.

Are your lawyers Barristers and Accountants Certified

All of our team members be they Thai Attorneys Barristers Notary Public Lawyers Accountants or International Lawyers are all certified and regulated by their home countries Regulatory bodies. Furthermore all of our select International Partners are again certified and regulated in their home countries.

Regulators include but are not limited to The Thai Bar Association, The LwSociety of Thailand, Solicitors regulation Authority, Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, Legal 500, International Bar Accossiation and more.

All of our International staff have appropriate Visas and Work Permits.

What information do you need from me in order to get started?

Once we have agreed what services are required and have agreed upon and had transfered our professional fees, the instructed team member would be in touch directly for any information and documentnts they may require to complete yoyr case matter. They will advise personally and provide assistance and guidance throughout your case matter.

What are your consultation rates and fees

Our consultation rates and fees are amongst the most affordable in Pattaya and Eastern Seaboiard.

Consultationa per 30 minutes are as follows,

Thai English Speaking Lawyer, THB 1250.

English International LAwyer/ Client Manager, THB 1500.

Consultation fees are refunded against the cost of professional services undertaken for Court Litigation matters.

However, for questions that require complex, in-depth, or extensive analysis, including legal research, review of documents, or application of law to intricate facts, a formal consultation or retainer will be necessary. This policy ensures fairness and transparency to all our clients. Our lawyers’ time and expertise are dedicated primarily to assisting clients from whom we have confirmed instructions. Diverting focus from existing cases and clients to thoroughly research and advise upon complex, uninstructed inquiries requires significant time, which must be covered by a legal fee commensurate with the expertise and effort involved. This allows us to dedicate the necessary resources to deliver the high-quality, reasoned legal advice you require.

Do you only deal with UK nationals

We at Anglo Siam Legal deal with clients of all nationalities, although our CEO is a British and International Lawyer, our team consists of Thai and International staff, our selected partner law firms around the globe include at this time UK, Australia, European Partners, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Singapore, The Middle East and more. All partners are selected carefully.

Thus we deal with expats and foreign nationals of all nationalities together with Thai nationals whether family members of foreign nationals or independant Thai citizens.
